This bike has a beautiful 30th Anniversary Mu Frame and is a bit special. There is not another bike in the world that has this same specification - it's a one off. We had to do something a bit different with this frame as it was made as a limited model for Dahon's 30th anniversary. The welds are all smoothed off before they added the gloss black finish to this lightweight frame, and it is fitted with a carbon fork. Dahon originally built the model as a road bike with TT bars, but our preferences were to fit the andros highly adjustable handlebar system to suit all adult riders, keep the price easily affordable, and the weight to about 10kg, which we have achieved by carefully selecting the parts used. If you compare this to current Tern models, you'll see how good value this bike really is, less than half the price of their lightweight models, and in reality lighter than their lightest. OK it doesn't have disc brakes, and we can debate for a long while the pros and cons of discs on a folding bike, but it does have a large range of gears, a large 55T chainwheel and a 11 - 36T rear cassette, and a Shimano gear mech with a clutch to prevent the chain bouncing off. (It is designed as a lightweight frame, with no side stand mount or headstock luggage mount) A Great range of gears, ride out for the day (hilly or otherwise) with a small rucsac on your back, or even less in a small pack strapped to the frame or handlepost. It's very versatile, if you are more of a roadie, you can drop the handlebar as in one of the pictures, or put it very upright if you want to sit up, the stem even comes back towards you if you so wish ! These handlebar positions are achieved in seconds without tools, just release the catch and lift the wide cam lever. The Monorail saddle system allows for more Fore and Aft movement than is normal on a twin rail saddle.
