The Brompton Blaze is our own unique model for those of you wanting a lighter weight short distance commuting option. Equally it can used for long distances, provided you choose the S Bag option with a larger battery.  Based around an S2L Orange Brompton fitted with a 36V 250w motor and full LCD Pedelec System (throttle can be fitted at no extra charge if required) and supplied complete with waterproof front Brompton/Ortlieb Mini O Bag or Brompton S Bag (according to preference) housing the Lithium Battery.

This really is a great bike, compact, easily wheeled by re-attaching the front bag once folded.  As long as you are relatively able bodied, it can be easily carried - bike in one hand,  bag in the other as it's very little different in weight to some non electric folding bikes, but being a Brompton - a lot more compact and easy to handle.

• This e-bike can be as light as about 16kg with 4aH battery and mini O bag attached. Approx 14Kg with the bag removed !!
• We offer options on the battery sizes of 4,9,10,11.6 or 15aH. (only the 4aH battery fits inside the Mini O bag, (but you can also carry 2 x 4aH batteries as well)
• The motor is controlled by a pedelec system with 5 different power levels as well as '0' for pedal power only
• We also offer the option of USB to power a front light or charge your gadget.

PLEASE NOTE: The Brompton Electric bike conversions that we offer are converted in our own workshop and not by the Brompton factory. In common with all modifications that are made to Brompton Bicycles the original Manufacturers Warranty becomes invalid. After many years of experience we are so confident of Brompton Products and of the electric system that we add to produce these electric Bromptons, that we provide a one year warranty on all items regarding the bike itself (subject to the usual exclusions) and of the electric system including the battery. We also provide a 5 year warranty on the Frame. (subject to the usual exclusions)

We also wish to state that the names ‘Brompton 'Blaze', ‘Brompton Brazen’ and 'Brompton Brisk' are titles that we (as a Brompton Retail Outlet) have given to these particular specifications and colour schemes advertised exclusively on our websites, we are not tied to these colours and indeed produce many in other colours chosen by customers according to availability .

Please note it is possible that we may only have have other colour combinations depending on stock at any one time. The option of Three speed is also possible at the same price.

Choosing the standard or 'Mono' Colours  Black or White saves £60.00 over the Price of an all Orange Bike, or mixing a 'Classic' or 'Bright' Colour with Black Extremities (which is a good option) will save £30.00 on these prices.  However,  choosing a 'Premium' Colour adds a further £100.00 over the cost of a full Orange or full Tempest Blue as two examples.

As there are so many possible variants it is best to ring us so that we can confirm stock. We stock 50 - 80 Bromptons at all times so we have a good choice,, though there are 100's of possible combinations. For this reason we can't always cater for everybody's specific requirement from stock, but we can special order B-spoke bikes without a problem. Phone number 01666 822330
